Welcome to Shadybrook Elementary School,

I’m honored to be your new Principal, and I want you to know how grateful I am to join this school community. For the past 16 years, I have served in Guilford County Schools, most recently as an Assistant Principal in both elementary and middle schools. I’ve loved every minute of working alongside students, teachers, and families, and I’m thrilled to bring that experience to Shadybrook.

From the moment I stepped into the building, I could feel what a welcoming place this is. It’s clear that Shadybrook is more than a school—it’s a family. I’m most excited about helping us grow even stronger as a community where every scholar feels safe, seen, and valued. My goal is to continue building a joyful school culture where our students love to learn and where every family feels proud to be a part of something meaningful.

I believe deeply in the power of neighborhood public schools. Shadybrook has so much to celebrate, and I can’t wait to partner with you to share all the reasons this is the best place for our scholars to discover, grow, and shine.
